BCI designers were challenged with developing a design that allowed each laptop to be shipped through UPS and FedEx without experiencing damage. The customer had previously tried using foam and bubble wrap but continued to have damage.
BCI designed a suspension pack that included four assembled inserts along with an RSC shipper. The inserts, after assembly, were placed in all four corners of the shipper and secured the laptop in place, while suspending it away from each corner and sides of the RSC.
Since TIG has converted to this new design, they have not experienced the damage that was previously reported by their customers. This new concept has allowed BCI to become their sole corrugated partner. We have since helped to develop multiple shipping solutions for new laptop and monitor package projects.
